Welcome to the brand new Mara Lake RV Park & Campground. Located just outside of Sicamous, BC - Mara Lake RV Park & Campground is the closest campground to lake access in the entire Shuswap region. From large Motorhomes to tents, families to individuals, everyone is welcome.

Sicamous and the surrounding Shuswap region offer nearly unlimited fun potential. Rent a boat for the day, hit the links, hike or bike breathtaking trails or visit a few of the many amazing wineries. Free WiFi access to every campsite keeps everyone entertained during those lazy, rainy days. All sites feature full service hook-ups, sanitary, water, and power.

We’re excited to share that Mara Lake RV Park and Campground is officially open.

Campsites 1 - 6, 9 - 13, and 18 - 26 are currently available and ready for you. While we look forward to your visit, please be aware that construction will be ongoing as we work towards full completion.. Campsites

Mara Lake RV Park & Campground offers 44 brand new, full service RV sites. Sites tailored to fit everything from Class A Motorhomes to tents and teardrop trailers. Every campsite comes standard with power, water and sanitary hookups. WiFi coming soon.

All campsites at our campground are designed as back-in sites, ensuring convenience and ease of access during your stay. Additionally, our campground is open year-round, allowing you to enjoy the natural beauty of Sicamous throughout every season.

Monthly Rates

We are pleased to offer monthly rates throughout the season to accommodate extended stays.

Take advantage of discounted rates during the off-season from October to April. Shoulder season rates apply in May, with special pricing available in June and September for shoulder-peak months. Peak season rates are available in July and August.

Amenities

For your convenience, every campsite comes standard with power, water and sanitary hookups with WiFi coming very soon.

In the very near future, there will also be a large playground on site, a community kitchen and BBQ and brand new washrooms with hot showers.

Our sister company, Sicamous Houseboats, located just across HWY97A, has a general store and gift shop, equipment rentals for boats, sea-doo's, paddle boards, kayaks and more. Please exercise caution when crossing HWY97A on foot.

There is also a public boat launch at 1 Mervyn Road, the Sicamous Houseboats marina. You can speak to one of our team members about renting a slip on our marina, boat trailer parking or any other questions you might have regarding lake access.

Please note that there are no laundry facilities available onsite. We recommend planning accordingly for your stay to ensure your comfort and convenience.

Activities

Sicamous and the surrounding Shuswap region boast nearly unlimited oppurtunities to get out and have fun. Mara Lake RV Park & Campground is a 5 minute walk from Shuswap Lake access. The surrounding area offers golf courses, hiking and biking trails, farmers markets, mini-golf, go karts, wineries, pubs & eateries, disc golf courses amd so much more.

Rules & Regulations

We want all of our campers to have an amazing and enjoyable stay, which is why we ask everyone to follow a few rules and regulations:

  • Quiet time is 10:00 PM
  • This is an inclusive campground. Harassment or abusive language towards out team members will not be tolerated
  • Check-in time is 2:00 PM | Check-out time is 11:00 AM
  • Please drive slowly. Maximum speed in the campground is 5 km/h
  • Our campsites have a maximum allowed capacity of one recreational vehicle per site and one non-recreational vehicle per site. No more than two vehicles are allowed on any campsite. If you have visitors to your campsite, they will require a parking pass for their vehicle and will only be allowed to park in designated visitor parking areas
  • Campfires, when allowed, must be kept to a reasonable size
  • Campfires, anywhere other than the provided fire pit, are strictly forbidden
  • All Provincial and Municipal Fire Regulations must be followed. For up to date Fire Restriction information, please visit Kamloops Fire Centre
  • Absolutely NO Firearms or Fireworks in or around the campsite
  • Please deposit all garbage and recyclables in the appropriate receptacles around the campground. Do not leave any food or garbage out on your site unattended. Messy or unkempt sites may be subject to fees or penalties
  • Pets are welcome. Please respect the grounds by keeping your pets leashed, quiet, and by cleaning up after them on site or during walks. Please do not leave any pets unattended at your campsite
  • Alcohol & cannabis may only be consumed within your own campsite
  • Ensure that all RV's & Vehicles are mechanically sound
  • Maximum of 2 Tents allowed per site when no RV is present. A maximum of 1 Tent allowed per site with a RV present
  • Tents must be pitched on the site grounds and not outside of your own campsite pad
  • No excessive tarping of campsites
  • BE WILDLIFE AWARE! Bears, deer, coyotes and other wildlife are not uncommon in our area. Never feed a wild animal. Garbage and messy or unkempt sites are wildlife attractants and may be subject to further fees or penalties. If you encounter wildlife on our site please first ensure your safety and then alert one of our team members to the animals presence
  • No alterations are allowed to your campsite
  • Please do not attempt to remove, alter or break branches, or disturb any trees or foliage on and around the campsite

Deposits & Cancellations

We want to make your booking experience as straightforward as possible. To secure your reservation, we require payment in full at the time of booking. Should your plans change, you can cancel your reservation up to 72 hours before your stay to receive a full refund. Your flexibility is important to us as we strive to provide exceptional service and accommodations for all our guests.

Sicamous Houseboats

Our sister company, Sicamous Houseboats, is located just across HWY97A. Here, you can rent lake ready pleasure craft, sea-doo's, paddle boards, life jackets and water toys. A general store is also located onsite. We sell many grocery items, treats, snacks, toiletries, firewood, ice and non-alcoholic drinks.
